Nexus

Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website or the Nexus app (together, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

License Grant

Nexus is licensed, not sold. Subject to these Terms and payment of the one-time fee, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Nexus for your own work. You may not resell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise redistribute Nexus or your license to it, and you may not reverse-engineer or decompile it, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

A purchased Nexus license may be active on up to two of your own Macs at a time and cannot be shared with others. To move it to another Mac once both are in use, deactivate one of them yourself, from Nexus or from the license page on this website; no need to contact us.

Everything you build with Nexus is entirely your own. You are free to use, publish and sell that work commercially, with no royalties owed to us and no attribution required. This license covers only your use of the Nexus software itself; Nexus, its code and its design remain our property.

One-time purchase and updates

Nexus is a one-time purchase with no subscription. Your purchase includes updates to Nexus for the lifetime of the product.

Free Trial

Nexus is available as a free 14-day trial with the full functionality of the app: nothing is held back or locked. The trial is there so you can evaluate Nexus fully, on your own Mac and with your own projects, before you buy. At the end of the trial period, continued use requires a purchased license.

Third-party services

Nexus connects to services you choose, including AI providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, models you run yourself, and services such as GitHub, GitLab, Cloudflare, Supabase, Stripe and Resend. Your use of those services is under your own accounts and their own terms, and any fees they charge are separate from Nexus.

Your code and the agents

AI agents can make mistakes. You are responsible for reviewing what an agent changes before you publish or deploy it. Nexus keeps a local history of each change so you can look at it and restore earlier versions.

Purchases and Refunds

All purchases of Nexus are final. Because Nexus is available as a free 14-day trial with its full functionality, you have the opportunity to evaluate it completely before paying anything, and no refunds are offered once a purchase is made, including for a change of mind. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to evaluate Nexus during the trial period and you waive any right to a refund, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Purchases are processed through a third-party payment processor and are subject to that processor’s own terms. If you run into a technical or licensing problem, contact us; we’re glad to help you get Nexus working, even though refunds aren’t offered.

Compatibility

Nexus is available for macOS only, on Apple Silicon. Supported versions of macOS may change over time.

Intellectual Property

Nexus and its original content, branding, logos, visual design and software are owned by us or used with permission. Third-party names and logos shown on this site belong to their owners and are used only to identify services Nexus works with. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you beyond the limited license above.

No Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every system or third-party service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from or relating to the Service, including loss of code or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or affects rights available under mandatory consumer law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
