Nexus

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

Overview

Nexus (“Nexus,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use this website and the Nexus app for macOS (together, the “Service”).

Your projects stay on your Mac

Nexus runs locally. Your code, your project files and your history of changes stay on your computer, and we do not collect, receive or store them.

If you connect third-party services, such as a hosted AI model from OpenAI or Anthropic, or services like GitHub, GitLab, Cloudflare, Supabase, Stripe or Resend, the parts of your project needed for each request are sent directly from your Mac to that provider. That is between you and the provider, under your own account and their terms and privacy policy. A model you run on your own Mac keeps everything local.

AI providers you choose

Nexus works with AI agents you choose, such as Claude Code, Codex or a model running on your own Mac. When you use a hosted agent, your requests go directly from your Mac to that provider under your own account, and that provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply. We do not see or store those conversations.

Connections and keys

If you connect services such as GitHub, GitLab, Cloudflare, Supabase, Stripe or Resend, the keys and sign-ins are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac, separately for each project. They are not sent to us.

Licensing and trial verification

To verify trials and licenses, Nexus may periodically contact our licensing service and send a unique identifier for your Mac. This is used only for licensing, activation, deactivating a Mac you no longer use, and preventing misuse of trials. It never includes your code, your projects or your conversations.

Purchases and payment processing

Purchases of Nexus are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number or other payment credentials; the processor handles them under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation that a purchase was made, along with the billing email needed to deliver and activate your copy.

Information you provide to us

If you contact us, we receive whatever you send, including your email address and the contents of your message. We use it only to respond to you and to keep basic records of support and sales correspondence.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or third-party analytics. We do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other sites.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
